Warehouse Manufacturing Supervisor II - C Shift (12 Hour Rotating Shift - 7 pm to 7 am)
This position will manage the Warehouse teams as they strive to service Plant T1 and The Commercial Division in an accident-free environment. This will be accomplished through a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and team development. Partnership with Plant Management, Human Resources, and all Team Members will be vital. The Team Manager will act as a facilitator to aid associates in examining and improving the ways in which they work together to achieve better results. This will be accomplished through managing group and one-to-one discussions, applying coaching and corrective action when necessary, and communicating the goals and direction of the team. This position should also develop and maintain a firm working knowledge of the Warehouse and procedures it contains.
Manage team development.
Able to work a flexible schedule and provide support for each shift.
Accurate control of all materials entering and exiting the yarn warehouse.
Oversee team development and training.
Facilitate improvements to the shipping and receiving process.
Maintain process measurements to drive improvements.
Ensure all safety requirements are met.
Call attention to any errors of materials received.
Audit warehouse and keep orderly.
Ensure cycle inventories are completed and non-conformances corrected.
Present oneself as a knowledgeable professional to the internal and external customer.
Ensure trailers are prioritized and trailer movement is controlled effectively.
Maintain Kronos, apply coaching techniques, and conduct one-to-one discussions.
Coordinate any other applicable duty or responsibility as needed.
1+ years of manufacturing or logistics experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
High School Diploma/GED
12 Hr rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Act Calendar, shift starts PM, days change only
