Video Production Specialist - REMOTE
As a member of the Product Consulting team, the Video Production Specialist uses professional video production tools to create digital content that builds our residential brands and channels and supports multiple training initiatives. This person will spend much of their time producing and editing video content, creating scripts and video templates as directed, and will serve as a content manager on Shaw’s digital content platforms. This person must be highly organized, a self-starter, and able to juggle multiple projects at once. Candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Using professional video editing applications (including Adobe Creative Cloud), edits and delivers quality productions, often working within a tight deadline.
Responsible for quick turnaround video requests that target customers and leverage existing marketing materials, ensuring the final product is on-brand and on-message.
Clearly communicates key messages and understands brand tone and voice.
Digital Asset Management:
Manage digital platform space, inclusive of loading content to ShawNow, Showpad, and Showpad Coach.
Coordinate video schedule, inclusive of production time and availability.
Monitor the customer community and communicate any issues or recommendations.
Manages both raw footage, produced content, and digital assets to ensure proper workflows for production.
Manages a b-roll footage archive and coordinates sharing of video assets.
Works as a key member of the creative team to plan and execute B2B, B2C, and internal video productions that represent and build our brands and educate on our product portfolio.
Efficiently plans and executes multiple video projects at a time.
Supports production crew members including camera operations, grip/electrical, audio crew, and other crew members.
Makes creative and technical decisions relating to lighting, camera movement, and other elements that enhance production value.
Assists with acquisition and maintenance of video production equipment including cameras, grip/electrical equipment, audio equipment, digital media, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Arts, Communications, or related fields and 2 years experience working as a professional videographer.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content.
The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
Understanding of digital tools and enablement technologies that help support business outcomes.
A strong eye for detail, design, composition, and creative critical thinking
Experience on Adobe platforms (specifically, Adobe Premiere and After Effects) preferred.
8 hour, day shift
