Job Title

Production Associate (Yarn Twisting) - $18/hr.

Position Overview

Shaw Industries is looking to hire and train associates who will play an important role in our manufacturing and distribution activities. As a Production Associate in twisting, you will learn and grow your skills and capabilities which will set you up for future advancement within the organization. No prior manufacturing experience is necessary. Training is provided for this role.

Job Description

• ·Learn various manufacturing skills to support department supervisors.

• Operate yarn twisting machines to help produce carpet products of various sizes and patterns.

• Install and remove yarn packages to ensure continual production flow.

• Feed fibers, repair broken ends, and check machine creel and winder for correct thread-up.

• Monitor production and quality of yarn and make repairs as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.

• Must be able to work pre-set schedule to meet department needs.
