Position Overview

The Manager of Hospitality Brand Standards will collaborate across the hospitality project management teams throughout brand standard development and implementation, ensuring project execution and process compliance. This position is paramount for organizing current brand standards and creating a process flow for future brand development. The Manager of Hospitality Brand Standards will work closely with Custom Design Studio leadership, marketing, hospitality VPSAs and BDAs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes incorporating detailed needs of brand standards projects within the hospitality project management team structure

  • Facilitate training of the project management teams to ensure understanding of brand guidelines that lead to enhanced project execution and accuracy

  • Partner with the Custom Design Studio (CDS) leadership team to ensure process compliance

  • Communicate with marketing to maximize external publications of brand standard products

  • Act as a liaison between internal customers (marketing, hospitality strategic account leadership and customer service) and CDS

  • Determine opportunities to improve service to external and internal customers related to growing brand standards business

  • Develop individual results through coaching and training

  • Develop outcome improvement resources and deliverables on major brand specifications

  • Assist in sales training related to establishing new brand development opportunities

  • Support departmental financial objectives by controlling costs related to sample /order inventory

  • Evolve and enhance job knowledge by maintaining personal networks with key account managers, marketing leadership, SIS, visualization lead and hospitality BDAs

Position Requirements:

  • Experience relevant to commercial carpet manufacturing and custom product development

  • Experience relevant to hospitality brand standard product development

  • Ability to effectively communicate objectives and expected outcomes concerning brand development across the hospitality project management teams

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Four year college degree and/or equivalent job related experience in textile development or similar field.

  • Proficient with Gmail, SFDC, MDM, NSP Project and G-Link
