Marketing Specialist Global Accounts
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development of marketing materials and programs designed to support the strategic commercial business at Shaw Industries. This role will work closely with Shaw’s Strategic Accounts Vice Presidents to execute marketing strategies designed to develop, engage, and retain national and global strategic accounts across the entire commercial division. This role reports to the Marketing Manager.
Primary role responsibilities
The execution of our CORE 4 Commercial Talent Strategy.
An excellent understanding of commercial business operations and how the brand(s) and corporate marketing should be delivered to support and improve business outcomes.
Accept complete ownership for projects, communicating directly with sales for direction, approval, and completion.
Assist with the development of both standard and bespoke marketing material as defined by brand/sales needs.
Complete requests with the highest level of professionalism and detail within specified timelines.
Bachelor’s degree in the fields of communication, marketing, or journalism.
Preferred 2-4 years of sales/marketing experience.
Self-motivated with superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a team environment with shifting deadlines.
Ability to work laterally across the organization with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solver, solutions-oriented with good attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.
Recognize that as a global company, some projects may require working beyond regular hours.
Writing and design skills with computer proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, Word, Internet research, etc.
