Job Title

Scheduling Coordinator

Position Overview

This position will work directly with planning and production leadership to coordinate product flow in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Decide on ship/sell cases in warehouse and RTI (return to inventory) locations on a daily basis

  • Pickup, sort, file and distribute paperwork (manufacturing orders, yarn orders, shop order and Packets, etc.)

  • Print Manufacturing Orders and write-up new Shop Order Packets

  • Resolve yarn shortages and warping problems (Oasis)

  • Follow-up on “hot” orders in processes as needed

  • Track yarn orders from warehouse and other plants to ensure timely delivery

  • Work with Production/Quality Coordinators and Team Managers to help resolve problems and

  • Facilitate order flow through the plant

Requirements:

  • Basic communication skills (filing, ability to manage multiple tasks)

  • Must have the ability to develop alternative solutions and make sound decisions in the absence of detailed instructions including working with Carpet Planners to problem solve in an effort to satisfy customer orders.

  • Basic computer skills (Shop Flex, Glink, Windows applications).

  • Basic Math Skills (decimals, fractions, percentages).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (email, Word, Excel))

  • Communicate well verbally and in writing with all plant personnel

  • Other task assigned by manager

  • Prioritize task and have the ability to shift focus quickly

  • Strong Reading and Writing Skills

Preferred:

Work hours are 2:00-10:00 PM

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
