Position Overview:

The Shaw Contract Marketing Data + Samples Specialist will support Shaw Contract Product Data projects and lead Shaw Contract sample remake efforts. The role will develop a strong understanding of our business, systems, and processes. They will proactively engage with key internal stakeholders within the organization to ensure accuracy of product data and effectiveness of the sample remake experience. Primary Responsibilities:

Product Data Management

  • With guidance from the Marketing Manager, create requirements documents for development teams for new and/or modified features.

  • Maintain brand product data in the Mindful Materials Library and other third-party Sustainability Database systems.

  • Verify, input, communicate, and maintain all product specifications (new, existing, and private-label products), ensuring the data is accurate and consistent in all product databases.

  • Collaborate with our global marketing team to help maintain all global specifications and product data, considering regional needs.

  • Manage Salesforce.com (SFDC) product data to enhance the sales team product experience.

  • Support new product data enhancements with global IT service partners and Shaw Contract digital team.

  • Partner with Digital Strategist to implement & maintain the Natural Language Processing (AI) initiative within Shaw Contract to create customer-facing and internal AI-based tools to enable customers to quickly find answers to their questions

  • Remain current on brand and enterprise sustainability product data initiatives and priorities to effectively collaborate, support and fulfill product data requirements alongside the Marketing Manager.

Samples

  • Support Shaw Contract sample replenishment/remakes (swatches, folders, chain sets, pom/pom boxes, etc.) to ensure sample inventory is maintained as needed for domestic and global needs.

  • Assist with sample expense budgets, track expenses to ensure greater sample utilization and efficiencies.

  • Assist with the sample return and recycling program client experience.

  • Lead the architect folder remake process for all Shaw Contract products, including private label and running line folders.

  • Schedule sample replenishments and monitor inventory levels of architect folders and swatches with the sample department, as expected by brand.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities with all internal and external partners.

  • Maintain specification standards for hard surface for databases, web data and marketing collateral.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years equivalent data and/or samples management work experience (Relational databases, master product data systems, inventory management software, or similar systems) or bachelor's degree

  • Ability to navigate multiple applications/systems

  • Basic computer knowledge + troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools

  • Proficiency with Shaw data systems (EBX, TTR, MDM, MSS, PDMS).

  • Experience in database design principles and best practices.

  • Knowledge in the areas of global markets, foreign cultures, and international business operations.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
