Position Overview
Description
Position Overview: Assist Accounting and Industrial Engineering Departments with data entry, reporting, and inventory control tasks. Assist with SOX reporting and Record Retention across Plants SI/SP. Responsible for Procurement Card for Accounting/IE.
Responsibilities:
Generate reports in USF2 and enter data in IE Dashboard and Core Metrics Production Spreadsheets
Enter data in various charts and graphs for accounting and Industrial Engineering
Generate Weekly Kronos Flat file, update labor reports, summarize Kronos Labor Transfers for month end Journal Entry
Identify and resolve exceptions in MRM (waste tracking)
Download Weekly Electricity Usage from Ga Power Website
Assist accounting with weekly and monthly POVA reporting and Month End Close
Reconcile Procurement Card transactions
Assist with SOX reporting requirements
Assist with Record Retention across Plants SI/SP
Assist with inventory cycle counts and inventory adjustments in USF2
Assist with other accounting/industrial engineering tasks/projects as required

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required
1+ year's experience in an accounting office environment
Proficient in spreadsheets, Excel
Knowledge of Shaw’s accounting practices and systems preferred
Participate in SQS/SES/SAFE/Management systems as required
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and work without close supervision
Must present information in a professional and user-friendly package
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Perform additional duties and special projects as requested
Work Shift
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
