Job Description

Position Overview: P rovide leadership to the Extrusion and Fiber Department.

Responsibilities:

• The Department Manager will be responsible for providing direction for the Tape Extrusion and Fiber Department s.

• Be responsible for managing Safety , Quality and Cost of this department .

• Develop a Strategic Plan for the Department that supports the Plant’s and the Division’s objectives . Execute actions plans based on the Strategic Plan.

• Be responsible for Optimizing efficiency, quality, reliability and utilization of our Tape Extrusion lines and Fare Fiber lines.

• Partnering with Reliability Main t enance and our Asset Performance Group to optimize PMs and troubleshooting on the Extrusion equipment.

• Manage proper WIP levels between Beaming and the Weaving Department.

• Implement customer-focused practices to support Beaming, Primary Weaving and Secondary Weaving.

• Coach and Support 5 Shift Supervisors and 2 Process Engineer s to be fully successful in their current roles and help prepare them for future opportunities.

  Requirements:

  4-year degree and 2+ years of Process Engineer experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of Department Manager experience

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
