Warp Crew (Night Shift)
. Purpose / Scope The basic responsibilities of a Primary Warp Crew member are to work safely, practice good housekeeping, minimize loom downtime, and maintain the production of first quality fabric. II. Responsibilities The Primary Weave Department is responsible for the maintenance of this job description. III. Essential Duties A. Beginning and End of Shift Procedures B. Creating a Warp Out Report C. Leasing Out D. Cleaning and Oiling E. Removing an Empty Beam F. Retrieving and Assigning a Warp G. Preparing a Warp to be Tied H. Warp Waste Procedure I. Starting and Stopping Looms IV. Other Duties A. Report unsafe equipment, machinery, or conditions to supervisor immediately B. Comply with Corporate Attendance Policy C. Perform all job duties in a safe manner D. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor V. Physical Requirements A. Able to reach over a warp. B. Able to manually turn a warp using a warp ratchet. C. Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop and/or squat for up to 11 hours of a 12-hour shift. VI. Training Requirements A. Chemical Right to Know - CRTK B. Plant Emergency Organization – PEO C.
