Job Title

Extrusion Machine Operator (ZIP)

Position Overview

Safely work in ZIP Extrusion operating panels at the highest efficiency with as little waste as possible.

Responsibilities:

Work safely and follow all safety rules and procedures.

Follow proper LOTO procedures when changing or removing wheels, finish rolls and when entering a winder.

String up panels per procedure.

On breakouts remove wrap from rolls, wheels, and guides.

Doff, label and dress packages per procedure.

Grade and dispense packages per procedure.

Monitor and periodically inspect panels.

Keep supplies at panels as needed.

Complete assigned routine housekeeping duties.

Keep assigned panels, doors and finish pans clean per procedure.

Clean and change parts per procedure.

Know parts of a panel and their functions.

Communicate with other associates in a professional manner to work as a team.

Other duties may be assigned within scope of departmental assignments.

Requirements:

Manufacturing experience preferred. Capable of working a 12-hour rotating day/night shift (7a - 7p/7p - 7a) schedule.

Work Shift

12 Hr rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Act Calendar, days & AM/PM start time changes in the rotation
