Warehouse Lead-HUB 2nd Shift

Position Overview

POSITION OVERVIEW: To effectively assist the supervisor and / or operations manager in all areas of his/her responsibility and to provide leadership and direction of warehouse operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to oversee and schedule the work of others as needed

  • Perform various physical safety checks in warehouse

  • Direct inbound and outbound trailers

  • Prepare, file, and sort driver paperwork for next day’s deliveries (as applicable)

  • Inspect materials for damage

  • Oversee battery charging procedures

  • Complete flashback forms

  • Assist with all Will Call (Customer Pick-Up) functions

  • Track inbound trailers/TRIP

  • Facilitate warehouse equipment maintenance scheduling and filing of records

  • Oversee cut production (as applicable)

  • Must be able to search for/research lost or misplaced orders or products

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Oversee all warehouse housekeeping

  • Backup and direct LTO(s), expeditor(s), and clerk(s) as needed on essential warehouse duties

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

  • Must be able to perform all the job functions as Clerk III

  • Must be able to manage, process, and ship sample orders

  • Must be able to complete regularly scheduled cycle inventory

  • Must be able to track aged products to ensure efficient use of storage locations

  • Manage flow of all priority orders and/or delayed shipments

  • Schedule FedEx orders

  • Assign/reallocate stock as necessary

  • Communicate with customers on “aged” orders

  • Provide Proof of Delivery (PODs) based on incoming e-mails/tracing requests

  • Must be able to perform all the job functions as Clerk II

  • Must be able to receive and enter purchase orders into inventory

  • Must be able to print labels for and label pallets

  • Assist with performing inventory scans

  • Must be able to perform all the job functions as Clerk I

  • Answer phones and email accordingly

  • Monitor RDC Inbox and personal email

  • Monitor inbound trailers

  • Audit, scan, and file various documents

  • Create and process BOL’s

  • Must be able to schedule trailers and create manifest for trailers

  • Must be able to perform all the job functions as LTO

  • Place / retrieve roll or product to/from location

  • Use RF unit to determine destination for product

  • Repair product packaging as necessary.

  • Take lift truck to battery / charging station for as needed

  • Raise/Lower dock plate

  • Adhere to all company and facility safety guidelines.

  • Must be able to perform all the job functions as LTOII - Order Builder

  • Utilize the hard surface pull task system to retrieve the correct material that has to pull from locations.

  • Transport hard surface product on pallets via forklift to/from location.

  • Complete paperwork as required.

  • Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared to pallets.

  • Non-Essential Requirements:

  • Maintain confidentiality on any and all uses pertaining to Shaw Industries

  • Cross train on other positions within the facility


  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

  • Must have ability to assess situations and make decisions based on knowledge of the job

  • Must be able to meet frequent deadlines

  • Must be able to analyze, comprehend, interpret, record and respond to data

  • Must be able to use computer and programs associated with job requirements

  • Must be able to make decisions independently

  • Must be able to meet frequent deadlines

  • Must have high school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and/or walk 5-7 hours per day

  • Must be able to lift, reach or carry objects as necessary, up to 75 lbs.

  • Must be able to drive a lift truck

This position is located and will work out of Cranbury, NJ.

$25.70 Per Hour

Sun.-Thurs: 4:00 pm to 12:30 am

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
