Airlay Lead - 3rd Shift
Perform administrative functions such as completed work documentation, problems that occur during the ship, production information and other pertinent job related information/data.
Perform periodic patrolling of the work area, observe equipment and machinery operation for problems, inspect quality of products, flow, and performance of associates and communicate with associates about production issues.
Plan production operations; establish priorities and sequence for manufacturing products, utilizing knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities and human resource requirements.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate associates work tasks for the shift.
Monitor associate performance and product output during the shift in order to maintain maximum product flow while keeping labor cost to a minimum.
Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets customer specifications.
Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing production flow and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and preventing operational delays.
Assist with revision or reviewing of standard operating procedures and practices and observe associates to ensure compliance with standards.
Take appropriate corrective action if necessary.
Assist with problems that may occur, including but not limited to: disciplinary action, PI Process, TMS, quality, safety, equipment, and training.
General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or plant management.
Must have working computer skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, supervisors and associates.
Must be able to work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
8 hour, night shift
