Airlay Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift
Currently working 12 Hours 7PM - 7AM (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Thursday/Friday) Hours and Days will vary depending on production needs.)
Remove chokes from airlay, bearings, suction system, belts, looms, and grinders.
Ensure correct blends are being fed to the line for processing.
Identify and communicate quality or mechanical problems.
Perform weight and thickness checks.
Enter information into Computer.
Clean equipment as many times as necessary per shift.
Complete production reports.
Enter roll information into system.
Responsible for building and repairing needleboards.
Empty the dust bags as many times as needed.
Other Duties (not used by recruiting but maybe necessary for Compensation):
Assist technicians and mechanics in performing maintenance and minor repairs as needed. Participate in process improvement projects and meetings.
Assist with other duties assigned by supervisor.
Maintain a clean work area.
Experience in manufacturing Computer skills preferred with the ability to use internet in order to access specs, setups, SOP’s, and to make tickets and enter production.
8 hour, night shift
