Assembly | Process Setup | Shift 2
- Set up subsequent jobs on line by placing swatches in order, according to work order number and separated by color. Keep other raw materials such as boards, glue, etc. stocked on line.
Process Stager (ASSEMBLY LINE):
Set-up subsequent jobs by placing swatches and number in order, separated by color.
Set-up line with totes of swatches to be used by assemblers.
Fill reservoir on automatic glue machine.
Using ASAP initiate work orders to go to the appropriate line using Order Manager.
Take totes from delivery conveyor and scan totes with scan gun, ensuring that all totes are present.
Check work orders in ASAP for special instructions and relay those instructions to the Lead.
Build go-by boards as needed. Help control production flow
Must meet production standards.
Key in production in computer throughout the day.
Set-up materials for subsequent jobs.
Rework boards as needed.
Help clear line at end of run by helping top boards and help packing boxes and/or palletizing.
Must adhere to the normal work schedule, i.e. starting and stopping times.
Attend job on a regular basis and comply with the Corporate Absenteeism and Tardiness Policy.
Must be flexible and work at different stages of assembly as requested by Supervisor or Lead.
Clean work area at end of shift and periodically during shift.
Any duties found necessary to aid in a safe and efficient operation.
Will be required to participate in stretching exercises as directed by the supervisor or lead.
Must be able to meet production requirements.
Should be familiar with selling styles and color lines.
Should have good eye-hand coordination.
Must be able to work as a team, and at the pace of the conveyor belt speed.
Must be able to read and write.
Must be able to use computer effectively.
Perform any other duties as required by your supervisor.
