Position Overview

Position Overview:

The Corporate Leadership Development Specialist is a blended role consisting of facilitation, consulting, collaboration, instructional design and program ownership. In addition, the SLA partner will work in alignment with the Organizational Development group on enterprise-wide change management and OD initiatives. As customer requests are processed, the SLA Partner will participate in the analysis and design process, while working closely with the Learning Content & Technologies team to develop world-class learning and training experiences. The SLA Partner will work collaboratively with training/human resource groups throughout the enterprise to integrate available skills, methods, and resources to provide clients with the optimum solutions. This position will also provide facilitation to support interventions related to organizational development and overall talent management initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR/Training resources and subject matter experts to clearly define training needs and objectives via a needs analysis process.

  • Design (create/curate) quality training programs that incorporate necessary and appropriate adult learning methodologies.

  • Facilitate (and/or coordinate the facilitation of) training programs, meetings, workshops, planning sessions, etc.

  • Work with the Learning Content & Technologies team to create tools, materials, activities, and curriculum to assist clients with the execution and follow-through on projects; e.g, participant workbooks, visual aids, skill checks, activities, assessments/evaluations, etc.

  • Lead all efforts (including communication, marketing, logistics, data analytics, etc) of assigned program(s); e.g, Core Pathways, Supervisor Development, Experiential Learning Programs, etc.

  • Work within the Learning Management System to deploy training, track data, and proactively maintain training records

  • Continually monitor and measure impact and results from training programs in order to continuously improve solutions and service. Follow up with clients to ensure desired results were achieved. Track and report progress of programs to stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

  • 4-year degree

  • Must be able to work off-shift as necessary and be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Demonstrated content development skills ( three to five years of experience in instructional design and content development )

  • Demonstrated business consultation skills ( four to seven years of experience in learning & development consultation )

  • Demonstrated facilitation skills ( seven+ years of experience in classroom facilitation/instruction )

  • Able to effectively manage group dynamics

  • Knowledge and skills to advise and consult with management to ensure delivery of the desired message to the target and / or broad general audiences.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate persuasively at all levels

  • Proficiency in Google Apps; including, but not limited to, Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Adult Education, or similar.

  • Master's Degree

  • Experience in enterprise-wide change management and/or organizational development initiatives

8 hour, day shift
