Director of Consumer eCommerce Strategy

We’re looking for someone who is strategic, social, and highly-motivated to lead multiple projects at a single time within a fast-paced, innovative, and customer-centric organization. They must be able to navigate complexity and communicate effectively to a broad, diverse organization. This position must be business minded and technically savvy. They must be a leader that has a positive impact on our organization. The position is responsible for ecommerce strategy for Shaw’s existing direct to consumer initiatives while continuously refine strategies for expanding that footprint.
He or she will put a special focus on creating new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes, and will lead Shaw’s B2C Digital Commerce initiatives as well as digital growth campaigns across key partners.
He or she will develop and implement digital marketing strategies, track and optimize data traffic and user metrics, drive day-to-day management of the e-Commerce platform, and work with leaders of the different business groups to maximize engagement and sales.
Define omnichannel program strategy and prioritize initiatives into a multi-year roadmap that delivers highly personalized experiences designed to materially benefit the business and customers.
Determine key capabilities and partner with key stakeholders to determine investments, and resources needed to support these initiatives.
Lead, manage, and direct all aspects of Digital Commerce (e.g., Buy Online and Pickup in Store, Sample ordering,, etc ). Own the strategy, create, and set high-level priorities, and drive implementation. Maintain ownership of prioritized initiatives designed to position our brands to win at customer critical moments along the path to purchase.
Develop, analyze and communicate KPI’s for ecommerce campaigns that both measure current initiatives and provide insight into future strategic investments
Establish consumer best practices and communicate to key stakeholders to actively drive change, innovation and importance of ecommerce within the overall marketing mix.
Drive business decisions based on understanding of external marketing and digital trends, customer insights and research, and reporting analytics.
Oversee and work with Shaw teams to continuously integrate customer-focused services, including customer and concierge services, to engage and convert consumer actions into revenue.
In partnership with the VP of Digital Strategy and IT develop an e-commerce platform strategy and ensure full optimization, utilization, enhancements and continuous improvement for Shaw and its retail partners.
Develop and execute e-commerce programs that will increase conversion rates, revenue and market share in key markets.
Develop and foster positive relationships with all departments and work as a cohesive team member.
Develop framework to analyze consumer, market and competitive ecommerce platforms and opportunity in the flooring space.
Ecommerce consulting for our key strategic accounts to create a better consumer experience, enhance our customer relationships and and better position Shaw with both consumers and channel partners.
Minimum of 7 years of e-Commerce experience with a focus on consumer audiences is required.
Excellent leadership skills, including an approachable, hands-on style and the ability to influence and inspire team members to perform at high levels.
Sound business judgment and a demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute objectives
Strong interpersonal and cross functional business skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with key team leaders in sales, product management, and marketing on key account presentations.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong initiative and the ability to be self-directed in completing tasks
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including a demonstrated ability to synthesize, interpret, and communicate information and data
Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage and follow through on multiple projects and priorities to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
