Lead Marketing Project Manager

Position Overview

Shaw Industries is seeking a Lead Project Manager with experience in managing complex projects to deliver company-wide strategic initiatives on a cross-functional basis.

In this role, you will execute high quality, predictable and efficient project management and delivery for our Residential business. You will work closely with functional leaders across the company to provide visibility and clarity on execution roadmaps, resource attributions for projects, understand upcoming risks, think creatively to minimize delays, and spearhead

cross-functional resolutions. You are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, a demonstrated expertise in and drive to work cross-functionally and have excellent communication skills.

You demonstrate being an entrepreneur on a regular basis. You thrive on providing significant value to Shaw by being a solution provider first, using all resource options available to deliver results quickly and cost-effectively by leveraging internal teams and / or through the use of outsourced expertise.

You will report to the VP Business Process Management in the Residential business and will work collaboratively and closely across all areas of the business .


  • Excellent project management and organizational skills working in a complex environment.

  • Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the residential and broader business while effectively driving projects.

  • You will lead with confidence, conviction, diligence and by example.

  • Understand and manage risks and dependencies on a project in a complex environment.

  • Provide clarity on objectives, deliverables, and define scopes accurately for each project.

  • Take charge of planning, communications, change management, and implementation of projects.

  • Navigate diverse stakeholder groups, form and sustain successful partnerships with experts in diverse areas of the business with overlapping and non-overlapping expertise.

  • Identify risks early on, and work diligently with the appropriate subject matter experts to solve or mitigate issues and ensure timely continuation of project deliveries.

  • Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure great delivery


  • B.S. required. Ideally in an IT, business or related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate would be a plus.

  • 7+ years of cross-functional project management experience

  • Strong understanding of IT and systems based thinking.

  • A proven track record in planning, developing, and delivering large scale initiatives on time and on budget.

  • You are obsessed with the milestones and the details that fuel them.

  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency
