Position Overview

Summer INTERN Position– Residential Marketing

Looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the Marketing Team as a summer intern to learn, create, and participate in implementing real-world initiatives, marketing strategies and / or marketing and sales support documents.

The intern will take direction from the Sr. Marketing Manager, but also work very closely with the Marketing Managers, Graphic Design and Business Leaders in this business unit. The intern will also help create and develop marketing materials going to our sales force and customers.

Other Requirements – Must be experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and be an excellent communicator. Must be self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills. Must enjoy solving problems and exhibit resourcefulness in finding solutions. The intern’s course of study must be related to marketing.

Tool, Equipment, and Material Requirements – Operate calculator, copy machine, computer, wear a seat belt when operating a motorized vehicle.

Safety and Security Requirements - Use caution when lifting samples to prevent pulling/straining back muscle. Adhere to guidelines set forth by Shaw policies and procedures.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
