Operations Manager - Home Centers
We are looking to hire a self-motivated individual with keen attention to detail to join Shaw’s National Accounts team. This is an excellent position for individuals who have an aptitude for analytical thinking and innovative problem solving and a passion for creating business analytics and data analysis solutionsfor solving business problems. An enthusiasm for developing and implementing guidelines and processes for customers in a rapidly changing environment will be key to success.
This Dalton, GA based position will lead a team of strategic account sales specialists to service our customers and find new ways to support and train our internal and external sellers. This role is ideal for someone who likes to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentrequiring one to prioritize and manage concurrent initiatives.
Prioritize and develop operational guidelines based on the strategic direction of the business through aligning the team with key stakeholders to ensure desired business outcomes
Expert knowledge of internal operations including but not limited to, order fulfillment, EDI processing, sales and marketing procedures, and sample manufacturing
Working knowledge of continuously changing customer requirements
Ensure compliance with company and customer requirements relating to legal agreements, claims management, order fulfillment processes, customer product packaging requirements, product specification data and digital assets, and EDI / B2B transaction processing
Review initial feasibility and potential roadblocks/challenges with all new customer buying agreements
Identify and develop solutions for compliance and order fulfillment issues
Create, implement, and maintain analytical systems and tools (dashboards, reports, and visualizations, etc.) to allow business users to make better data driven decisions
Continuously evaluate the success of analytic initiatives and solutions provided
Perform project management tasks and take initiative to conduct necessary meetings with stakeholders to document requirements and business value tied to the request. Estimate effort for completing requests and provide timely updates
Provide strategic direction to internal teams regarding technology requirements for maintaining and growing the customers in the e-commerce channel
Manage new customer/product set up process for order fulfillment
Proven ability to deal professionally and confidently while building collaborative relationships with our customers, and internal/external stakeholders, at various levels in the organization
Must have the ability to understand customers' situations, perceptions, and expectations or be customer-centric
Train and mentor business users on various analytics tools and solutions developed
Participate and contribute to the improvement of enterprise data analytics
Travel may be required for facility support and conference attendance.

Bachelor's Degree required (Preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics) or High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years relevant business experience
Strong analytical acumen, ability to think critically at tactical and strategic levels
Demonstrate strong project management skills that balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
Extensive experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects and SQL query tools
Strong sense of urgency and takes an active role in decision making and problem solving
Demonstrate strong business acumen to engage with multiple business areas and present to business leadership
Lead, coach and develop 3 direct reports
Proven ability to work across business units to drive results
Ability to communicate with complex information in a simple and clear manner
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
