Position Overview
Position Objective:
Work is of a technical nature and requires experience and/or knowledge of principles and techniques commonly used in the electrical field. Person is required to both repair and fabricate parts and equipment. Responsible for analyzing electrical malfunctions and correcting the problem.
Operate machine tools and shop equipment including portable tools.
Use precision instruments and tools. Replace fuses, contacts, transformers, motors, switches, relays, and timers.
Devise, fabricated, and use tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Position Objective:
Set-up and operate shop equipment, and other equipment as necessary to ensure quality products are being produced and shipped on time.
Maintain and upgrade equipment and facilities using multiple skills, natural and acquired, to do a quality job.
Repair plumbing problems in a timely manner.
Operate lift truck as needed.
Operate welder and cutter torch as needed, using safe and efficient procedures.
Must be able to efficiently and safely complete tasks with minimum supervision.
Prepare material lists and complete purchase requisitions as needed.
Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures as needed.
Work from oral and written instructions, prints, and sketches.
Take measurements and create workable sketches as necessary.
Analyze problems to help make decisions with other fixers or technicians.
Make clear, accurate, and concise reports on machine tolerances where applicable.
Must be able to work assigned schedule and required overtime.
Work Shift
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
