Position Overview

Position Overview:The ideal candidate will lead and support the high-performance organization philosophy through the alignment of the competency model, people systems, strategies, initiatives, goals & metrics, and structures. In addition, the Sr. Manager of Training & Development will work to continuously improve the associate experience within Operations, sharing best practices, insights, and learning throughout the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR, Operations leadership and Learning & Organizational Develop to identify and develop a strategy for Training & Development that is consistent with the overall objectives of the enterprise.

  • Work alongside HR Directors on talent management, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.

  • Manage and develop training staff and resources within Operations, assuming greater and broader management and leadership responsibilities over time.

  • Apply organizational development principles, methods, and tools to provide a broad range of customized business solutions designed to support the business, enhance organizational effectiveness, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

  • In collaboration with the leadership team, design an energetic and exciting learning environment across Operations while ensuring improvement of knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed to drive business results.

  • Conduct analysis of physical work environments, organizational structures, communication systems, group interactions, turnover, morale, and motivation to assess organizational functioning.

  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs while applying principles of learning models and theories.

  • Work closely with Learning & Organization Development to align and position development programs (Certified On-The-Job Trainer, Relief Supervisor, Core Pathways, etc.) to drive business results.

  • Champion the use of new technologies, systems, and processes that positively impact both business and training metrics.

  • Maintain training and learning metrics within Operations, providing insight and recommendations to drive business and talent needs

  • Lead and/or participate in initiatives that include, but are not limited to, Six Sigma projects, Kaizen events, Design Thinking events, focus groups, etc.

  • Stay abreast of current trends in the fields of organizational development & effectiveness, training & development, and talent management, sharing learning and best practices within Operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Master's degree preferred in the area of Adult Learning, Organization Development, I/O Psychology.

  • Knowledge of training methods, theories, and applications.

  • Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and problem-solving sessions

  • Proven effectiveness in delivering instruction, instructional design, and task/job analysis

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Minimum of five years’ work experience in one or more of the following areas: training & development, process consulting, organizational development, change management or related field.

  • Experience with M365, Workday, and Data Analytics Tools (Tableau, OneModel, etc) preferred

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
