Position Overview

The Sr. Communications Manager is responsible for developing and creating compelling written content that effectively communicates the brand message, engages the target audience, and drives business objectives . This role shall provide strategic direction and leadership for a variety of Philadelphia Commercial marketing efforts including communications, segment & dealer support, sustainability, and overall brand strategy. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality copy across various channels and platforms. The Sr. Communications Manager leads the Graphic Design Manager and Communications & Digital Specialist to ensure alignment and consistency across all brand communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively support public relations efforts through garnering editorial coverage, award and recognition submittals, directory listings and other focused placements.

  • Partner with key business leaders and stakeholders throughout the enterprise to educate on Philadelphia Commercial initiatives, understand alignment opportunities, and drive results.

  • Serve as the liaison between the Shaw Learning Academy and Philadelphia Commercial brand representatives to ensure training goals are being executed through the training process

  • Manage Graphic Design Manager and Communications & Digital Specialist to ensure alignment and consistency across all branded materials including print and digital content, trade shows and events, training materials, marketing content and resources, with a keen responsibility in supporting the product launch process including photography/rendering coordination, training, photo packs, website, and other marketing materials to support a successful launch

  • Work closely with Digital Manager and web development team to track and report all statistical data around digital platforms such as social media, email campaigns and website(s). Also track, report and assist with website redesign and page build out.

  • Proof marketing materials to ensure consistent brand messaging and accuracy of information (including product specifications; presentations; tear sheets; etc.)

  • Participate in trade shows, conferences and other regional events, as needed.

  • Coordinate and communicate monthly marketing webinars and enrichments for the Philadelphia Commercial sales organization and customers.

  • Coordinate and execute the brand newsletter.

    Other Requirements:

  • 4-year degree, preference to journalism, communications or marketing

  • 3-5 years experience in communications and strategy development and execution

  • Experience leading and/or working closely with creative agency/partner

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation and style

  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.

  • Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and storytelling principles.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for content creation, such as content management systems, SEO tools and social media platform

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
