LTO/Spotter - 1st Shift (Enoree, SC)

Position Overview

ESSENTIAL:

1. Moves trailers wherever needed when needed 2. Help load and unload the truck 3. Must be able to lift 75 pounds occasionally 4. Must comply with all federal, State and Shaw regulations 5. Must keep truck clean inside and report any repairs as needed. 6. Must take and pass a yearly physical as required by DOT 7. Complete a daily trailer check.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to read and write. Must be able to use a computer. Must be able to count panels to ensure proper load sizes. Must be mechanically inclined to be able to troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical problems. Must be lift truck certified. Must have a valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to sit or stand for a full 8 to 10 hour shift. Must generally have 20/20 vision or 20/40 with correctional lenses. Must have good reflexes and hearing. Must be able to lift and push.

SAFETY & SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

Must pass SCDC background check and be able to work in the prison. Must consistently enforce company and safety policies and give corrective feedback when needed. Must maintain a safe and clean work area at all times. Must report any unsafe conditions to supervision. Must report all accidents no matter how slight to supervisor immediately. Must wear personal protective equipment at all times while in the designated areas. Must comply with all plant and department safety rules and regulations.

$18.12 per hour.
