Supply Room Attendant/Coordinator - 1st Shift

Position Overview

Position Overview:

Responsible for assisting with the smooth flow of the supply room.

Responsibilities:

  • To perform payroll entries daily.

  • To maintain personnel rosters.

  • Must be able to maintain a current record of supplies essential for operation. This would involve the administering of daily/weekly inventories.

  • Must keep an ongoing database of tools used for plant operations.

  • Must be able to prepare/distribute related reports.

  • Create requisitions to order parts and materials as needed.

  • File and manage all receipts of purchase.

  • Stock inventory in appropriate locations.

  • Update inventory levels on the computer as items are received.

  • Adjust inventory levels on the computer and issuing supplies and parts.

  • Document and report all inventory discrepancies to Supervisors.

  • Perform periodic physical inventory at least twice a year. Cycle counts performed weekly and year-end physical inventory due in October of each year.

  • Responsible for all incoming packages including picking up shipments with the use of a golf cart and documenting and storing inventory.

  • Responsible for all outgoing shipments including preparation of package including proper labeling and determine the best shipment method.

  • Must be able to prepare memos and/or signs as needed.

  • Communicate any problem or concerns to the supervisor in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain housekeeping standards.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

  • Follows all plant safety rules and guidelines

  • Should be able to lift objects/parts weighing up to 50 lbs. manually.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

  • Must be able to work overtime if needed

8 hour, day shift
