Space Dye Operator (Part-Time)
.Position Description:Operate Spacedye winder, pack out yarn, put ends in, repair breaks, creel yarn, and splice in yarn.Essential Functions: Load tubes to the winder. Remove 10 to 15-pound packages from the winder. Pack out the yarn. Repair end breaks. Air splice up to 48 ends at a set amount of time. Load yarn on creels. Place 10 to 15-pound packages into creels. Put ends back in (lockout required). Load packages to the case. Approx 200-300 packages per day. Attendance is an essential function of the job. If there is any reason you cannot complywith our corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy, please inform us of the situation.You must adhere to our normal work schedule, i.e., starting and stopping times, andwhere applicable, rotating days.Non – Essential Functions: General housekeeping as needed. Bring tubes from creel to winder. Any other duties as prescribed by the supervisor.Training Requirements: Orientation Training Quality and Safety Training. Pride Program Training. Lockout TrainingPhysical Requirements: Able to reach overhead. Reach requirements range from 7” to 77”. Able to stoop or bend to doff winder, pack out yarn, and load creels. Able to operate air splicer. Able to walk and stand for a continuous amount of time throughout the work shift.Job DescriptionTool, Equipment & Material Requirements: Safety and Production Equipment.
