Spectra Contract Flooring is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Longwood FL.
Position Overview - Warehouse Utility
Oversee the incoming and outgoing flow of materials in the warehouse.
Check in and organize materials that come into the warehouse
Mark locations of the materials on the bills of lading
Issue materials to installers for jobs, help load and/or cut materials for the installers and operate the cutting machine
Keep track of any material balances left in the warehouse for a job
Coordinate material authorizations with the purchasing agent and accounts payable
Issue stock pad from warehouse when needed
Conduct periodic inventories
Secure warehouse building and clean warehouse office
Organize the warehouse and put away materials
Maintain a neat and uncluttered warehouse
Occasionally pick up materials from vendors and make deliveries to job sites
Order supplies as needed
Maintain company grounds
Maintain warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, cutting machine)
High school diploma / GED is required
A valid drivers license is required.
Minimum of five years computer experience is required.
Knowledge of the products in the floor covering industry
Knowledge of the operation of a warehouse
Ability to operate a forklift
Act in a professional demeanor with customers and fellow employees
Mathematics skill set, specifically fractions, measurements, and reading a ruler.
Communicate both written and oral
Read and comprehend written reports and documentation
Visually recognize conformance and nonconformance of flooring products
Potential to learn of all pertinent Winbid modules
8 hour, day shift
