Shaw Industries Inc Inventory Analyst in Rincon, Georgia
Primary function is to optimize product placement in our warehouse that will allow us to maximize service and minimize cost across a 2.3M sq.ft . warehouse operation.
Primary Responsibilities :
Understand product location strategy and make decisions for product placement based on optimal cost and service factors.
Analyze product placement plan; make recommendations and provide direction to management and workforce regarding inbound product positioning in the warehouse, and in the overall Savannah footprint.
Make recommendations regarding changing the product plan based on analysis of history.
Direct the replenishment of product to desired locations identified by replenishment reports, and make modifications due to inventory and building footprint considerations.
Continuously review primary locations by minimum and maximum parameters to ensure optimal workflow and efficient order fulfillment.
Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production and inventory.
Create procedures for distribution to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Interact with associates and management to optimize procedures and make changes.
Interact with other groups and people inside and outside of the company, at various levels of authority.
