Lift Truck Operator on 2nd Shift (Santa Fe Springs, CA)

Position Overview

PURPOSE To place dyed rolls in the waiting stage area for Finishing Line to ensure Continuous Production. Dispose finished rolls according to inspector instructions. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Perform the Lift Truck Inspection using form Lift Truck Operator Daily Checklist.

  • Verify Production Schedule with your supervisor.

  • Operate Lift-Truck.

  • Transport the rolls from the coater staging area to the coater conveyor system.

  • To relocate rolls on the computer.

  • Help Sew-On operator with the aligning of the greige.

  • Assist Sew-On operator during breaks.

  • Bale waste following Baler Procedure.

  • Follow Baghouse Procedure.

  • Assist in other activities as assigned by the supervisor


  • Must be certified to operate boom lift trucks.

  • Must be able to read, understand, and discuss in English numerical and alphabetical lot numbers and other product, production or maintenance information.

  • Experience with computer helpful.

  • Must have forklift certification or pass certification test prior to accepting job.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.


  • Frequent: Climb, depth perception, handle, hearing, manual dexterity, lift 15-20 lbs., reach, sit, stand, stoop, and walk. Use personal protective equipment.

  • Occasional: Balance, crawl, crouch, grasp, kneel, and speak.

  • Required: Close vision, and be able to differentiate color, and texture.


  • Work in a general industrial environment.

  • Conditions: background noise, dirt, oil, humidity, temperature variations.

  • Work near moving mechanical parts.

    Pay Rate: $19.14

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
