Maintenance Supervisor - Savannah
Position Overview: This position is responsible for the front line supervision of all Maintenance associates. Responsible for working with management team to assess needs and assigning tasks to all maintenance associates in alignment with plant priorities.Responsibilities: - Mentor and provide technical support to develop the skills of maintenance personnel in area of responsibility. - Monitor, analyze, and review equipment performance to identify opportunities for improvement. - Support a proactive maintenance environment by identifying opportunities for performing Preventative and Predictive Maintenance. - Complete special projects assigned by the Plant Manager or Superintendent - Coordinate and/or conduct required training. - Insures OSHA, NEC and other local, state and federally required compliance on work performed, training delivered and other Maintenance activities. - Available to work weekends, off shifts and holidays, if required. - Mentor and provide technical support to develop the skills of maintenance personnel in area of responsibility. - Monitor, analyze, and review equipment performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High School Diploma/GED required
2+ years Manufacturing Maintenance experience required
Must be able to manage others in an inclusive and respectful manner
Must have: good reading comprehension, writing skills, an understanding of both metric and standard measurements, practical and business math.
Must have the ability to communicate clearly with all levels of Shaw associates
Must be able to negotiate with vendors as well as schedule and oversee on-site contract workers
Must be able to plan and control the costs of the purchases of the Maintenance department.
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
