DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position

The Employee will hold the position described in item 5 of the Schedule and agrees to carry out the responsibilities of that position as specified from time to time by the Employer.

Alteration of responsibilities

The Employer reserves the right to vary the Employee’s responsibilities from time to time in accordance with the operational requirements of the business.

The parties acknowledge that the nature of the Employee's role and level of responsibility may be varied over time, but agree that irrespective of such variations, the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement will continue to apply unless amended by a written agreement.

Employee’s obligations

The Employee must:

perform to the best of their abilities and knowledge, the duties assigned to them from time to time;

serve the Employer faithfully and diligently to the best of their ability;

use all reasonable efforts to promote the Employer’s interests;

act in the Employer’s best interests;

comply with all laws applicable to their position and the duties assigned to them; and

comply with all directions made by the Employer and/or any other person or entity appointed by the Employer.

Without limiting the duties in any way, the Employee must not during their employment:

act in conflict with the Employer’s best interests; or

be involved or concerned in any capacity in any other business, operation or activity which in the reasonable opinion of the Employer may compete with, or damage the Employer’s business, except with the prior written consent of the Employer.

Hours of work

The Employee agrees to work:

on the days, and for the hours, during which the Employer’s business is open for general business; and

on other days, or for other hours, reasonably necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the Employee’s position. The Employee will not be entitled to any additional remuneration for any additional hours worked as the Employee’s salary has been set to compensate the Employee for these additional hours.

Place of work

The Employee’s normal place of work will be at the place specified in item 6 of the Schedule. The Employer may direct the Employee to work at other premises within a reasonable distance from the normal place of work.
