Reliability Electrician III
Responsibilities: - Complete all required level I electrician courses in the START program - Participate in extensive on-the-job training - Learn and perform electrical skills with increasing independence - Assist skilled technicians in all phases of electrical work - Assist with work site preparation as needed - Attend all required classes in the START program - Assist in the inspection and diagnosis of maintenance problems - Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work - Learn practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the electrician trade - Learn all hazards and safety precautions of all procedures - Understand and apply electrical concepts and theory - Follow oral and written work instructions Requirements: Skills: - Must be able to read and understand information from charts, graphs, and manuals - Must be able to use basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, divide (whole numbers, fractions, decimals) - Must have basic understanding of measurement units (US and Metric) - Must be able to make simple sketches - Must be able to identify and use basic tools - Must be able to read and understand basic electrical terms and definitions Preferred Skills: - Previous verifiable industrial electrical experience - Previous residential electrical experience - First Aid/CPR training - Certificate or degree in Industrial Maintenance
