Position Overview

Our Sampling Coordinator will effectively and courteously process incoming and outgoing sample orders. This position is responsible for the coordination of sampling resources to ensure we go above and beyond with customer satisfaction. Our Sampling Coordinator must adhere to company procedures whilst striving to be our customer’s supplier of choice.

What you'll be doing:

  • Process daily orders as per sampling policy for Australia & New Zealand, by either picking and packing products locally, or coordinating orders with International customer service teams with high level of attention-to-detail and clear communication.

  • Follow sample orders to completion; following up on any back-ordered products, keeping team members up to date with expected ETAs, resolving sampling inquiries.

  • Schedule all local deliveries for national distribution by placing bookings in online courier systems or with 3rd party logistics partners, monitoring to ensure items have been delivered successfully.

  • Accept regular deliveries and notify the relevant party of the arrivals.

  • Maintain the sample storage area to ensure there is enough stock as per sampling policy, ordering replenishment where necessary, and taking pride in surroundings to ensure the sampling area is neat, tidy, and well organised.

  • Coordinate monthly sample replenishment or returns for each regional storage shed or showroom, in line with policies and set target levels, as well as ordering and distributing product launch material.

  • Keep all digital systems up-to-date with current inventory levels, sample request information, processed purchase orders/sales orders, and processed invoices in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Certificate, Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Customer Service environment.

  • Clear, professional and concise communication skills; written and verbal.

  • Proficient adaptable computer skills, experience using an ERP or CRM system is desirable.

  • Must be able to view computer screens, have the ability to enter information using a computer keyboard, and sit for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours).

  • Must be able to bend, reach above one’s head and occasionally lift up to 30 kilos

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing tasks to ensure all are completed in a timely manner.

  • Be independent with the ability to effectively work unsupervised.

  • Must adhere to health and safety guidelines, including care of equipment.
