The Showroom Manager, Dubai, is a new role which is critical to support our growing presence and activity in the UAE. Our showroom is based in the heart of Dubai’s Design District (d3) and this role, based in d3, represents an opportunity to help Shaw Contract become a leading player in the design community. Establishing a welcoming environment for visitors, arranging and hosting events, and overseeing supplies of samples, materials and collateral will be critical in this role. Along with keeping the premises and displays updated and functioning successfully, the successful candidate will be instrumental in helping with launching products, supporting our sales team and managing the overall administration of the showroom. He/she is practical, social, and highly motivated to manage the multiple demands that come with a fast-paced, innovative and design-centric organisation.
He/she will have a strong attention to detail, be able to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and budgets. The candidate will thrive working in a fast, flexible team environment. Critical to his/her success will be the ability to help provide excellent, all round customer-facing support and understanding the needs of a range of stakeholders. This position, reporting to the Marketing Director/Manager EMEA, will also be an important addition to our MEA team. Some travel in and around Dubai will also be required, and on occasions outside of the city.
Maintain the Showroom to provide functional sales and brand platform for the MEA region; this will require support of showroom operations alongside proactive activities.
Help to develop and deliver the customer experience with all the Shaw Contract stakeholders.
Measure and report performance of related Showroom activities and assess against agreed goals (ROI and KPIs) making recommendations for subsequent activity and budgets.
Own the day-to-day management of the Showroom and support responsibilities for Sales, Events and Marketing; including budgets.
Support and enhance our sales support activities: information, samples, presentations.
Present product to walk-in visitors and provides requested literature and information; present product to scheduled visitors when sales team is unavailable.
Provides product and service information to dealers, the A&D community and end users in person and by phone.
Work closely with Marketing Manager/Director EMEA in all marketing activity including digital communications and face to face engagement.
Assist marketing team in new product launches and showroom product presentations..
Distribute details of third party lead generation to sales team and support building and ongoing maintenance of an effective database in line with Shaw Contract GDPR requirements.
3+ years of industry experience – project management, showroom or customer experience management, B2B marketing or interior design experience.
Understands industry language, manufacturer/Installer/dealer structure, the role of A&D in selling process.
Organisation skills, accuracy, and great attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Language skills, command of English is required.
